Hi,
I would like to use the UGUI MiniMap in my game when the player hits the M key. The tutorial and documentation example appears to be quite different than the asset I imported (possibly an older version???). I can get the map on the screen, but it stays on the screen. There's also a grid added to the play area that I can't seem to disable. I would also like to change the background of the map (as if the map appears on an old scroll). How do I go about doing that?

Hi,

-Are you using the In-Editor documentation? (not the web documentation)
you can found it in Windows -> MiniMap -> Documentation.

-You can hide the minimap grid in bl_MiniMap (Inspector) -> Grid Settings -> (uncheck) Show Grid

-You can change the background by adding a new Image (with your background image) in the MiniMap UI that is positioned before the "MiniMap - Image" object in the hierarchy.

Regards.

What if I don't want the map on the screen until the player hits the M key? Right now, the map is displayed in the top left corner, when I hit M, it goes full screen. I just want the full screen option (and no minimap) when the player hits the M key.
