Hi,
You can edit the dead zone from the Unity Input Settings at: Edit -> Project Settings -> Input -> Mouse X and Mouse Y (the ones at the bottom) -> Dead -> set your desire value.

UI Navigation support was introduced in the last update (in a few days ago),
so if you are using it, you simply have to set the GamePad input mapped in the InputManagerSettings -> Mapped,
